How many syns are in Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut

There have been a few variants of Dairy Milk with Fruit and Nut being one of the oldest out there with a cult following. It’s not my personal favourite but I do get the appeal. The difference with Fruit & Nut is that it has slightly less chocolate to make room for almonds and dried fruit.

This to a taste which is quite unique as well as the texture as it becomes a bit more crunchy and chewy than the standard Fruit & Nut.

If this is your chocolate of choice and want to know how many syns it has we’ve got you covered and then some. Not only will we tell you the syn value but we’ll give you the syns to gram ratio, the SynScore and some comparisons to similar bars. Let’s go.

Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut Syn Value

A Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut weighs 49 grams and contains 249 calories. This means a single bar of Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut is worth 12.5 syns at a ratio of 0.25 syns per gram. This is similar in syns to a Twix (12.4), Double Decker (12.5) and a Starbar (12.5).

This is quite high for a n individual bar but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. We’ve done the numbers so let’s break it down.

Is a Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut worth the syns?

dairy milk fruit and nut nutrition

The Fruit & Nut in this bar doesn’t make it a healthy snack, in fact in terms of calories it’s quite high and the syns per gram isn’t the best. That said, its texture and flavour might be what you’re after.

In terms of syns per gram, its at the same place as Twix, KitKat, KitKat Chunky and a Wispa Gold. If you like any of these you’re getting the same deal.

As for the SynScore, the Fruit & Nut gets a 61%, which is just above average – the same as a Starbar. It is better than a Snickers (55%).

If this is the bar you’re after then it’s worth the syns, but if there are others with better metrics you like the same or more you’d be getting more for your syns with them.
