Perhaps one of the most widely known chocolates in the world – The KitKat was introduced as a quick snack you could have at work during you break. “Have a break, have a KitKat” is one of the memorable slogans the whole wide over. Indeed, the KitKat has been designed with small little breaks in mind due to having four snappable fingers to have one by one, some you could have with a brew and the others straight down your gob.
Considering one little finger can’t be that bad it’s an interesting read to find out how many syns for the whole pack and how many per finger. We’ve done the maths for you and here are the results.
KitKat Syn Values
A four finger pack of KitKat weighs 41.5 grams and contains 209 calories. This means that the pack is worth 10.5 syns at a ratio of 0.25 syns per gram. At 10.5 syns each it is exactly the same as a KitKat Chunky (10.5), a bit more than a Lion (10.2) but a bit less than a Mars bar (11.4).
This means that a single finger is worth 2.6 syns, a two finger pack is 5.2 syns.
But, this number alone is meaningless – is a KitKat worth the syns and are there better chocolates out there? We’ve done the analysis, read on to find out more.

Is a KitKat worth the syns?

One of benefits of a KitKat is that you can snap a finger off – this means that you could spend 2.6, 5.2, 7.8 or 10.5 on one. Other chocolates such as Twix, Toblerone and Lindor have the same advantage.
Aside from the above, the KitKat has a syns per gram ratio of 0.25 which is slightly below average and the same as a Wispa Gold, KitKat Chunky and a Twix. This is not terrible but not brilliant either.
Lastly, the SynScore for the KitKat is 68%, which is pretty good and means it is 68% as efficient with your syns as the best chocolate on our list.
Now, considering the advantages of taking a finger off, the average syns per gram ration but a decent SynScore we think KitKats are a fairly good choice to spend your syns on. Enjoy!
